The Lodge at White Cross Bay

 

 

Business proposition: The owners of this beautiful rental cabin on Lake Windemere, England, had built a do-it-yourself website using one of a few templates available to them from their hosting company, and were not pleased with the results.

What we did: We wanted this site to invite people to come to the lodge to relax in the epitome of the English Countryside. We used one picture of the property as the banner to invoke the sense of a restful day painting the beautiful scenery or sailing on the lake. (Can you find on the White Cross Bay website the picture from which the banner originated?)  The very unique floral background is based on a fabric pattern, to round out the English Country feel. Finally, we put several lovely testimonials on the front page, so site visitors learn right away that this is where they want to vacation next.

The result: The owners of this property feel the new website is much more inviting, much more likely to draw vacationers who wish for relaxation in a beautiful location.
